Supporting migrant women to rebuild their careers and thrive in Australia.

As migrant women, we understand how challenging it can be to rebuild a career in a new country. Many of us face barriers such as limited opportunities, lack of local experience, and isolation.

PMW was created to help change this experience and support migrant women in finding their place in the Australian workforce.

Our Story

Founded in 2019 by Fabiola Campbell, PMW began as a small mentoring program supporting a handful of migrant women.

With Fabiola’s background in community development, coaching, and training, the program quickly grew into a structured initiative supporting women across Australia. Her passion for creating supportive and empowering spaces for migrant women laid the foundation for PMW’s community-driven approach.

In 2021, Lina Orozco Munera, began volunteering with PMW, supporting the organisation’s communications, storytelling, and brand awareness efforts. With her background in strategic communications, community engagement, and advocacy, Lina helped strengthen PMW’s visibility and connection with its growing community.

In 2023, Diana Santibanez, connected with PMW after interviewing Fabiola on her podcast and resonating deeply with the organisation’s mission to support migrant women. With her background in business development, partnerships, and community building, Diana brought new strategic opportunities and collaborations that supported PMW’s continued growth and sustainability.

Later that same year, Diana Santibanez and Lina Orozco Munera became partners alongside Fabiola, marking a new phase of growth for PMW. Bringing together expertise across community development, strategy,communications, partnerships, and engagement, the organisation expanded its reach and impact through new programs, increased community engagement, and the launch of the Level Up platfor, making mentorship, professional development, and support more accessible to migrant women nationwide.

Today, PMW continues to run mentoring programs and support migrant women at different stages of their career journey, while building spaces for connection, visibility, leadership, and career progression across Australia.
